Cast Iron Cooking: Chili Lime Steak
This recipe is keto, low carb, primal, and whole food friendly.
Cast iron skillet.
Steak, your choice.
Chili lime seasoning.
1 Lemon, sliced.
1 Lime, sliced.
Worcestershire sauce.
Lemon juice.
I have no measurements because I add as I go as to how I like the flavor.
Turn your oven on broil.
Line the bottom of the cast iron skillet with lemon and lime slices. Then add the steak. Add the chili lime seasoning and pepper if you like. Add the lemon juice and Worcestershire sauce. I usually give it a few shakes, but feel free to add more or less to your liking. Cover with the rest of the lemon and lime slices. Place in the oven for two minutes. Flip. Repeat this process until the steak is done to your liking. I added a half of an avocado and a side salad to complete my meal.
This is one of those recipes that will make the cheapest steaks taste awesome (just ask my husband!).
