YUMeating Top 5 Recipe Posts of 2013
It’s been a pretty amazing year for YUMeating. This isn’t my first website, but it is the first that I have really poured myself into. I have tried so hard with other sites but could never quite make them work. Maybe at the time I thought it was the right niche, only to find out later maybe the niche was semi right, but the domain wasn’t quite there.
I’m happy where I am with YUM. It has been a lot of fun and it’s brought cooking back into my life in a positive way. I’m able to share my tales with kiddo and pass on the things my mother taught me. I think starting YUM after getting my Master’s was the best thing for all of us.
YUM is still a baby at 4 months old. We have a lot of growing and a million more recipes to try (and quite possibly fail.) There are so many wonderful opportunities starting to come my way. 2014 is going to be a great year. I am really looking forward to it.
So, here are the Top 5 posts according to Google Analytics for 2013.
5. Oatmeal Chocolate No-Bake Cookies
4. Christmas Dinner: Ranch Roast
3. YUM is Iced and Without Power
2. Blue Cheese Toasts Appetizers
And my #1 post is actually quite surprising to me as I really thought it would be some kind of chocolate.
1. Crockpot Baked Potatoes
Bonus: This post received the most amount of comments, weighing in with 105 comments.
Pinterest Fail: Cotton Candy Cake
I hope you enjoyed your recipe round-up. For those of you who have been reading for a while, did your favorite make the list?
I’ll take one of each. They all sound so good. No surprise they are the favorites!
It will be interesting to see what 2014 looks like, right? I think of this list the basic potato really is my fave.
Oh my gosh, those cookies look soooooo good!
So many yummy things! No wonder I can’t lose weight. Bah! *bangs head on desk* I am certainly looking forward to 2014 and mixing things up a bit.
