Free Clean Eating Cheat Sheet Printable

Clean Eating Food List yum eating

After looking at some of my top search traffic I can see that I get quite a few hits from my ‘cleat eating’ topics.

First let me explain that clean eating is not a fad. It is not a diet or another weight loss gimmick.

Personally, for me it just means no prepackaged garbage. It’s eating food in its most natural state.

It really is as simple as that. Clean eating does not have to be complicated. However, it can do wonders for your health.

YUMeating now has a FREE printable cheat sheet which can help guide you on your clean eating path. As I continue on my 30-Day Green Smoothie Challenge this list goes with the challenge hand-in-hand. As my smoothies contain the freshest ingredients which are clean and wholesome, so must my non smoothie meals.

Many of you are clean eaters and don’t even realize it. If you’re a prepackaged junkie, I’m not here to bash you. Just know that some prepackaged meals are much worse than others. I know what it’s like though to have that need to feel like you have to rely on certain foods. I just try to make the cleanest and least processed choice when picking those items.

Prepackaged frozen foods like Amy’s are a good place to start. I can find these on sale quite often and they have a nice variety.  Just a heads up, at my supermarket Amy’s is in the natural foods freezer section and the regular foods freezer section. Amy’s also has canned and boxed goods. Another good one is Annie’s. Annie’s has a lot of organic and whole grain products.

After all my years of weight issues, fertility problems, and a host of other issues we finally figured out it was PCOS. I read Master Your Metabolism by Jillian Michael’s after searching for some answers. Jillian, another PCOS sufferer knows her stuff when it comes to this endocrine system disrupter. I know a lot of people have issue with her training style on Biggest Loser, and I can understand. But as someone who knows metabolic disorders, I trust her opinion and her advice. Her latest book, Slim for Life, while not a whole lot on PCOS or metabolic issues does touch quite a bit on making better choices for cleaner eating and when you are faced with the boxed isles.

What is your one prepackaged food item weakness?

  1. I’m a huge Jillian Michaels fan too. I don’t always agree with everything she says, but I really appreciate her (generally) inclusive, no-nonsense approach to fitness and nutrition. Thanks for posting this! I downloaded and saved it 🙂

    1. I love her. Like you, I don’t always agree with how she handles things, but I appreciate her for the knowledge she shares and the person she is. If I would just apply the principles I’ve learned in her books, I might just battle this PCOS instead of always complaining about it.
