Hot Vanilla Cinnamon Flax Cereal (Atkins Induction & Keto Friendly)

This basic recipe can be changed and adapted to your tastes.
Boil 1/2 c water.
Reduce heat.
Slowly add 1/4 ground flax seed (or flax meal). Stir.
Add a dash of salt, Sugar-Free Coffee Syrup (I used Vanilla, but others work, too), and a packet of Splenda.
I then put a dash of cinnamon on the top.
My net carbs were 2.5 (0.5 for the packet of Splenda and 2 for 2 services of my flax meal)
The consistency is a bit goopy. I read that some folks will add a scoop of low carb protein powder or wheat bran to thicken it up. I found it to be just fine for me.
