#atozchallenge I is for Independence

A funny thing happens when you start to shift your life; you realize just how Independent you really are.  For the longest time, I worried. Worried I was not worthy of love. Worried I was not going to be able to stand on my own two feet. You see, I’ve walked this path before. I thought, I knew how the story ended.

This time I couldn’t be further from my previous paths in life.

This time, I am making changes for me.

This time, I am doing things on my terms, on my time.

This time, I’m stopping to smell the roses and appreciate all the things in life I never noticed before.

This time, I see just how strong I really am.

I am Independent and there is nothing wrong with that.
