Edgar Allan Poe is one of my all-time favorite poets and writers. There’s something intriguing about this dark and mysterious man. Born in an era where mental health was such a deplorable illness that treatment meant years of brutal tortures called ‘treatments.’ Many wonder if Poe was of sound mind. Others believe he truly was just the opposite; a genius ahead of his time. Whatever it is you believe, you can’t deny his true artistic talent with his words.
It is also due to my fascination with Edgar Allan Poe at such a young age that Nevermore Lane was born. What started as a blog inspired by the great lifestyle bloggers is going to turn into more of a literature, word, typography, design and home decor site centered around interesting and odd items. I decide to make this change because…well..I just felt I am not the craftiest and my DIY projects take me months to get to. So all of those posts, along with the Monster High things, have been move to my writing site. I do hope that you will stick around here on Nevermore Lane. I have plenty to share with you.
