Apple-Caraway Pork Roast
Hey guys! I am excited for today’s post. Those of you who’ve been here a little while know how much my family enjoys roasts. So, it should be no surprise that Kristen from PAM (yes, the cooking spray!) reached out to me and asked for a guest post! Ok, maybe I am tooting my own horn a little bit. YUM is my baby and I have poured a lot into her this last year. Every day provides new challenges and learning experiences. So, it was exciting to know that someone from a well-known company wanted to guest post on my blog! Sqqueeeeee…… ok…so enough of the tooting. Without further ado, I bring you Kristen’s Apple-Caraway Pork Roast.
~Chrystal
Hello YUM eating readers! Kristin from PAM here… I am excited to be writing for Chrystal today! Let me tell you more about myself. I currently live in Chicago with my dog, Joey. When I am not indulging in Netflix underneath a pile of blankets or jogging around the neighborhood, I’m in the kitchen experimenting with a new recipe from Pinterest or whipping up one of my favorites.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Before you know it, we are already planning for the winter holiday season! Like Thanksgiving, this season is also a time for friends, family and food. At my last holiday party, I made this yummy tender pork roast.
The caraway seeds and cinnamon give it the perfect winter holiday flavor. For a taste of sweetness, I served this dish with baked apples and sweet potatoes. I used the leftover pork roast as sandwich meat—it tastes great with yellow mustard and onion!

I am always looking for new ways to prepare pork for my family! My kids often give me a hard time about it for some reason!
Its so easy for us to make a pork roast. Toss it in the crockpot while I am making breakfast and away we go!
Okay, that looks amazing! (And I love Pam, by the way 🙂 )
This recipe sounds like it would melt in my mouth. Live the combination of ingredients!
I never liked caraway seeds. I would try it without them.
Love that you added sweet potatoes. They tend to get a bad rap but they are so delicious. I’ve never made a pork roast.. Seems simple.
That’s a really tasty sounding idea. I’m not super familiar with caraway, so I’d love to try it!

OMG, that sounds so yummy! The best thing about pork is that you can do so many different things with it.
Pork is one of my husbands favorite main meats and this looks so good. I am sure he will love this. Cinnamon and caraway seeds is not something I normally would associate with pork but I think it sounds yummy.
I love making pork roasts in the slow cooker. I haven’t made one in the oven in a long time, but I might have to try this one!

Ohh, this is making me so hungry! Sounds delicious! Pork and apples go so well together.
I love all the seasonal flavors in this dish. It would be great for company.
That would be a great meal for Christmas dinner since a pork loin like that can feed a lot of people. We use PAM all the time here for cooking – even on popcorn before we put on the flavored cheese!
This recipe looks pretty delicious, and not too hard to make. I like making pork roasts but never thought to use apple and caraway to season it. Great ideas!
Wow this looks and sounds incredible. How yummy! I haven’t had this before and would love to try!
