Chewy Visits Our New Home !

Chewy Visits Our New Home ! | Nevermore Lane

It has been a while since Chewy has come to visit. We sure are happy he’s here today. Since becoming a bit displaced and moving in with my mom, Casey and Tink have had to adjust to losing their dad and their short human sister. While they are used to grandma, they are not used to being here for great lenghts of time. Grandma has a 16 year-old ‘snickerdoodle’ and a 1 year-old kitten. Tink has tried to make friends with Kitty (real original name, right?) but Kitty just doesn’t know what to do. I feel bad for Tink, I know she misses her cat Ziggy and her small human.

It was a happy moment when the UPS man dropped off the familiar box and I brought it inside. Tink and Casey could sense it was for them. I am convinced they could smell these treats because they do have a very loud, pungent smell once you open the container.  It’s a smell that hits you the minute you break the seal; so my guess is their super sniffers were smelling it through the box!

Evanger s Nothing but Natural Beef Tripe Freeze Dried Dog Cat Treats 3.5 oz tub

Tink and Casey surrounded my feet when I brought the box in from the UPS man. I had to scoot to the back room in order to set the box down. Inside were these Evanger’s freeze-dried Beef Tripe treats for dog and cats.

I love that these are all natural and when I read the ingredients list there was nothing in there I couldn’t pronounce and I knew what everything was. That makes me happy to give good stuff to my furkids.

Casey loved it. She wanted more…and more.

Tink loved hers so much she ran to the other side of the room and growled at Casey if she got too close.

The senior dog, Big Girl (I  named her, no laughing lol) took a good sniff, but she wasn’t very interested in it.

Kitty gave it a little sniff, but she wasn’t very interested in it either.

Half the furkid family loved it and the other half wasn’t so sure.

But that is okay. We tried, right?

Are your pets picky eaters or do they share treats?

  3. My dog is treat-crazy. She is pretty generous and likes to put them on top of my foot while I’m sitting on the couch. A gooey, slobbery treat on your foot is so relaxing. 🙂
